Tokyo – People waiting at Akihabara Railway Station

When I first visited Tokyo, I missed to visit one district of the city, which is very popular: Akihabara, also known as the Electric Town or simply Akiba.

In Akihabara you will find every possible electronic gadget, computer, videogame, anime or manga stuff – new or used. If you don’t get it here, it does not exist.

So this time I spent a little bit more time there. As half of the district is plastered with illuminated advertising, it was probably a good idea to go there after sunset. The first photos are showing Akihabara at night.

Followed by pictures of the next day at different places like Shinjuku and Shibuya.

Did I mention, that all over my stay of four day it was raining in Tokyo? So don’t wonder about the plenty of umbrellas in the pictures…
